This amazing act of treason can be broken into three separate outrages. You take your pick.

Chinagate #1:
     Millions of dollars were secretly directed by the Chief of China’s military intelligence into the coffers of both the Republican and Democratic parties with President Clinton being a major recipient – not to mention millions funneled to the Republican National Committee under Haley Barber, including a $2.1 million “loan” to the Republican National Policy Forum, among other financial support. However, when Presidential candidate Bob Dole said he would put ballistic missiles in Taiwan to protect Taiwan against China, General Ja Shengde, Chief of Chinese Military Intelligence, working directly for Xiong Guangkai, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the People’s Liberation Army, who supervises all intelligence and foreign policy for the army and a close ally of Chinese President Jaing Zemin, poured all their money into reelecting Clinton. 121 people involved in this unconscionable violation of the Constitution which absolutely forbids having political candidates take money from a foreign power, have either hid behind the Fifth Amendment or fled the country.
     Oh, yes, the White House spin doctors furiously denied it ever happened or they ever knew of it, while the Republicans killed Senator Fred Thompson’s Senate investigation into this matter, and other campaign financing abuses, because the Republicans knew their hands were equally dirty.
     One other “Oh, yes.”
     At the same time the White House is taking millions of dollars from Chinese military intelligence, they are protecting the Chinese spy who has been giving away our most classified and valued nuclear secrets to the Chinese. Does this not make the President, his staff, and everyone involved in the cover-up of the most heinous treasonable delivering of secrets to the enemy in American history also guilty of treason, of betraying our country for money? Do not both the Democrats and Republicans have blood on their hands for this one?

Chinagate #2:
     Who was protecting the Chinese spying at Los Alamos? Obviously, in the old America when our President and Congressmen loved America more than their need to be in power, which makes today’s politicians so desperate for money that they sacrifice their principles, their beliefs, and sell their soul for campaign funds as just another fact of life – in the old America taking money from a foreign power would have been unthinkable, and protecting spies leaking secrets that could end up killing American men and women was not possible – and wouldn’t be possible today without the Los Alamos spying operation being protected by the White House. To find the answer you need look no further than Sandy Berger, President Clinton’s head of National Security, the man in the White House directly responsible for protecting our national security, and who for years has failed to act to stop the spying even though everyone involved in national security knew it was going on.
     Why would Berger do such a thing?
     To find the answer, you need to only look to his past. Before coming to the White House, Berger worked for one of Washington’s most powerful law firms/lobbyists. What was his function at that firm? Specializing in developing international trade relationships with China. Berger could properly be called one of the principle architects of developing trade with China, creating hundreds of millions of dollars of business for his clients. Appalling? Unbelievable? Reprehensible? Absolutely! But that’s what America has become. And what makes it even worse there’s no way we can hold Berger, Clinton, and all the others involved Accessible or Accountable.

Chinagate #3:
     On the front page edition of the Los Angeles Times, on Thursday, April 29, 1999, the headline read “FBI Plans Arrest of Scientist in China Spy Case”. Few things show how surreal America has become. It used to be that people who committed treason, let alone perhaps the greatest act of treason in American history, were not notified on the front page of major newspapers that they might be arrested in ten days or so. Previous major spies, the Rosenbergs, Pollard, et al, were arrested swiftly, silently and with no fanfare -- and they were not given any advance notice so they could destroy evidence, cover their trail, and flee the country. But in those days you didn’t have the head of National Security be a man who’s law firm is making millions of dollars by having America do business with China, much of which Sandy Berger set up.
     Where do you think Berger will go to work after he leaves government?
